Where we stand

Your privacy is not for sale. Period.

On the internet, the user is usually the product. Causfy is built so that cannot happen. This is what we do and what we do not, with no fine print.

Signing says something about you

What you care about, what you oppose, whose side you are on. It is not just another data point. It is among the most intimate things you can leave on the internet, and most petition platforms live precisely off that.

We do not. And it is not a promise: it is how Causfy is built.

We cannot read your signature. Literally.

When you sign, your name and email are encrypted with a key split in two: one half is held by whoever created the cause and the other half by us. Both are needed to read anything, and the creator’s half never leaves their hands. Nobody at Causfy can open the list of signers of a cause: not the technical team, not management, not anyone who got into our servers.

It is the same principle as a bank safe deposit box: the bank keeps the box, but cannot open it without the customer’s key.

We do not sell your data. We could not even if we wanted to.

There is no advertising on Causfy. No advertisers, no data brokers, no “partners” we hand lists to. We do not build a profile of you for anything. And what cannot be read cannot be sold either.

No account needed to sign

You sign, confirm your email with a one-time code, and that is it. We do not ask you to register or to invent a password.

You decide what is seen of you

The cause shows your first name and how long ago you signed. Nothing else. And if you would rather not show even that, you can hide it.

If you verify your identity, we keep nothing

Some causes ask you to prove who you are with your ID document and a biometric check. That check happens on the spot, in memory, and is discarded when it ends: we do not keep the image of your document, your face or any data derived from it. If you sign again at that level, you repeat it, because nothing is stored.

Money does not pass through here either

When a cause raises funds, each contribution goes directly from the contributor to the fundraiser. Causfy does not touch that money at any point and does not see your card details: the payment provider collects them, on its own screen.

No trackers on the website

This website does not load Google fonts, third-party icons or anything that tells another company you have visited. If we measure visits, it is because you said yes in a notice where refusing costs exactly the same as accepting; until then, nothing is stored on your device to measure you.

The artificial intelligence does not see you

The assistant that helps creators write and manage their causes works with counts and with what is already public. It never accesses the data of those who sign. And it runs on servers in the European Union.

What we do keep

Of whoever creates a cause we do keep what is needed to make it work: their account, their causes and, if they raise funds, what the law requires in order to get paid. We process it on servers in the European Union, we sell it to nobody and, when they close their account, it stops being used and is deleted within the periods the law sets.

What you do on Causfy is yours. And nobody else’s.

All of this is written, in the detail the law requires, in the Privacy Policy. This page exists so that you do not need to read it to understand what matters.
