Causfy turns any physical item or anything of value into a fundraising opportunity. Whether you want to support a cause that already exists on the platform or create your own, the auction infrastructure is the same: transparent, secure, and built for real impact.
Two Ways to Use It
Causfy supports two auction models, both with full transparency and 0% commission:
- Linked to an existing cause: You choose a cause already active on the platform as the beneficiary and auction any item signed merchandise, collectibles, artwork, or anything else of value. Winning bid proceeds go directly to that project. Example: a footballer auctions their signed boots to support a children’s foundation already running on Causfy.
- Your own initiative: You use Causfy as the auction platform to raise funds for a cause you manage yourself, without needing a pre-existing project on the platform. Example: someone auctions a laptop they no longer need to help fund education for children in Africa.
Physical items are the primary use case. Digital assets and exclusive experiences can also be listed as secondary options.
Technical Security and Transparency
Unlike generic auction systems, Causfy integrates institutional-grade security protocols:
- Verified Escrow Funds: The winning bid amount is held in a secure escrow system and is only released to the cause after validation of the transaction or delivery of the asset.
- Blockchain Auditability: Every bid, increment, and auction close is immutably recorded. This prevents price manipulation and ensures fair competition.
- Linked Identity: All participants must have a verified identity, ensuring that every bid is real and legally binding.

Legal Notice — Auctions
Platform role: Causfy acts as a technological intermediary connecting sellers/donors with bidders and causes. Causfy is not the seller, buyer, or owner of any auctioned item. Causfy does not directly custody auction funds.
Escrow and fund holding: Any escrow mechanism, fund retention, or conditional release may depend on an authorised external provider ([Proveedor escrow/subastas — pendiente]), a smart contract on a compatible public blockchain, or another legally permitted mechanism. The availability of such mechanisms varies by country, regulation, and provider.
Seller responsibilities: The person or entity listing an item for auction is solely responsible for: (a) the accuracy of the item description; (b) authenticity and legal title to the item; (c) delivery or transfer of the item to the winning bidder; (d) compliance with applicable laws regarding the sale of the item.
Prohibited items: Items prohibited by applicable law or Causfy’s Terms of Service may not be auctioned. This includes, without limitation: weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, items subject to export restrictions, and any item whose sale is illegal in the relevant jurisdiction.
Cancellations and disputes: Causfy may cancel an auction at any time if it detects prohibited content, fraud, or breach of these conditions. Disputes between buyers and sellers are the responsibility of the parties, subject to Causfy’s review processes. Causfy may apply discretionary measures under its Trust and Safety policies.
Taxes: Participants are solely responsible for compliance with applicable tax obligations arising from auction transactions in their respective jurisdictions.
Destination of funds: Proceeds from winning bids are directed to the cause or beneficiary designated by the seller, subject to the technical and legal conditions applicable at the time of the auction.
