This Policy describes how Causfy uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools within its platform. It is part of the Terms of Service and must be read together with the Privacy Policy & Cookies. This Policy is governed by applicable EU legislation, including GDPR and applicable AI-related regulations.
1. Nature and Role of AI Tools
AI tools available on Causfy are auxiliary tools designed to assist users. They are not authoritative decision-making systems.
- AI generates suggestions, drafts, and responses based on input provided.
- AI may commit errors, produce inaccurate content, or generate incomplete information.
- AI does not substitute professional advice of any kind — including legal, tax, financial, medical, investment, or any other professional advice.
- The user is solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing or acting upon it.
2. AI Tool Types Available on Causfy
2.1 Creator Assistant (Dashboard)
Assists creators with operational tasks: campaign drafting, suggestions, feature guidance. Available within the creator dashboard.
2.2 Campaign Assistant (Public)
Answers questions from visitors and donors based on information provided by the creator. Its quality and accuracy depend on the information loaded by the creator.
3. Data Processed by AI Tools
When you use AI tools on Causfy, the following data may be processed:
- Questions, messages, and inputs submitted to the AI assistant.
- Files or materials uploaded by creators for the campaign assistant.
- Minimal security and diagnostic logs to prevent abuse and maintain the service.
The AI provider used by Causfy is: [Proveedor de IA — pendiente]. The use of AI tools may involve transferring data to this provider in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection safeguards (SCCs or equivalent where required).
4. User Responsibilities
The user is responsible for:
- Reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing or using it.
- Ensuring that content published on Causfy (including AI-assisted content) is accurate, truthful, and compliant with applicable laws and Causfy’s Terms of Service.
- Not relying on AI outputs as professional advice.
- Not using AI tools to generate, disseminate, or facilitate:
- False or misleading information intended to deceive donors or the public.
- Fraudulent, impersonating, or manipulative content.
- Discriminatory, abusive, or harassing content.
- Dangerous or irresponsible medical information.
- Content that promotes illegal activities.
- Any content that violates Causfy’s Terms of Service or applicable law.
5. Limitations
- AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
- Causfy does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.
- AI Tools are not a substitute for human judgement, professional review, or expert advice.
6. Data Protection and GDPR
Processing of personal data through AI tools is governed by the Privacy Policy & Cookies. The legal basis for processing data through AI tools is primarily performance of contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for operational features, and legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for security and abuse prevention.
Where the AI provider processes personal data as a data processor, Causfy ensures that a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) compliant with Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will publish the current version with its update date. Material changes will be notified in accordance with applicable law.
