What is recorded and what it is worth

Every signature produces a PDF certificate with the date, the name you gave and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact text you signed. If you sign anonymously your name stays off the page; the certificate exists all the same.

That PDF is sealed with the electronic certificate of CAUSFY GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES S.L., issued by the Spanish Royal Mint (FNMT). Any PDF reader can check who issued it and that nobody has altered it.

Its fingerprint is also recorded in a public blockchain, which stands as witness: from that moment a signature cannot be changed, nor a back-dated one slipped in, without the record failing to add up.

It is a simple electronic signature and it works as evidence: no law may reject it merely for being electronic. It is not an advanced or a qualified signature, which a citizens’ petition does not require either.

In Venezuela it is recognised by Decreto-Ley sobre Mensajes de Datos y Firmas Electrónicas (2001).

La escena de los e-sports en Venezuela enfrenta una crisis invisible pero constante: la falta absoluta de empatía y flexibilidad por parte de los organizadores frente a la realidad del país. Casos como el vivido recientemente —donde fallas eléctricas obligaron a un jugador a trasladarse de emergencia a un centro de conexiones— se repiten incontables veces, afectando el tiempo, la inversión y el esfuerzo de quienes intentan competir profesionalmente. A pesar de mantener comunicación constante y avisar a los organizadores de LGA y Venezuela Gaming Show sobre los contratiempos logísticos ajenos a nuestras manos, la respuesta institucional es sistemáticamente el silencio, la indiferencia y la descalificación arbitraria sin previo aviso. Esta situación no solo perjudica a los equipos afectados, sino que socava el crecimiento de toda la comunidad competitiva nacional. Es momento de exigir un cambio, transparencia y un reglamento que verdaderamente contemple las limitaciones del entorno para que ningún otro jugador vuelva a ser ignorado ni penalizado de esta manera.
